OmegaGen Cardio™ is a highly effective product, rich in Omega-3 essential fatty acids and antioxidants to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and improve the HDL / LDL ratio within the normal range.

Healthy cholesterol levels is all about balance. Cholesterol is produced naturally in our liver and also comes from certain foods we eat. The body needs to keep a healthy amount to survive, and disposes of the remainder. Problems occur when this balance is upset.

Regardless of which source it comes from, cholesterol will 'piggy-back' onto one of the two types of protein found in the body: low density lipoproteins (LDL) and high density lipoproteins (HDL). LDL are considered 'bad', as they circulate cholesterol in the bloodstream, where it can build up. Meanwhile, 'good' HDL regulates this by taking cholesterol back to the liver and ultimately out of the body.
